FUORISALONE 2012 OMNIDECOR PRESENTA I NUOVI DECORI FIRMATI KIKI VAN EIJK I nuovi decori Omnidecor 2012, sono stati esposti a Frammenti/Fragments, tra Superfici_Luce & Materia / between Matter_Surfaces and Lighting, concept ideato da Silvio De Ponte/DPSA+D, all’interno del Temporary Museum for New Design, nello showroom La Perla. Indagare lo spazio attraverso i sensi, grazie alle infinite possibilità espressive di linguaggi diversi: la concretezza  della matericità, l’evanescenza della luce e l’astrattezza delle superfici. OmniDecor ha contribuito esponendo i decori Fabric e Crochet della nuova "Kiki van Eijk Collection". Completano la collezione i decori: Mesh, Wireflowers, Dandelion, Coralline, Autumn e Linen.	FUORISALONE 2012 Omnidecor presentS NEW decorS BY Kiki Van Eijk The new Omnidecor 2012 decors have been exhibited at Frammenti/Fragments, tra Superfici_Luce & Materia / between Matter_Surfaces and Lighting, a concept by Silvio De Ponte/DPSA+D, at the Temporary Museum for New Design in the La Perla showroom. Approaching space through the senses, thanks to the infinite expressive possibilities of different languages: the concreteness of material consistency, the evanescence of light and the abstractness of surfaces. OmniDecor contributed by exhibiting the Fabric and Crochet decors from its new "Kiki van Eijk Collection". The collection also includes the Mesh, Wireflowers, Dandelion, Coralline, Autumn and Linen decors.
IL VETRO DECORFLOUDESIGN SCELTO PER GLI INTERNI DELL’HOTEL HILTON DI MILANO Una delle più note catene di  hotel al mondo, sempre attenta ad anticipare i tempi con l’offerta di confort, servizi e concept innovativi, ha affidato l’incarico di rinnovare gli interni dell’Hilton di Milano allo studio di architettura THDP di Torino. Impegnato internazionalmente nella progettazione di prestigiosi progetti alberghieri e residenziali, lo studio THDP ha voluto dare un’impronta innovativa  utilizzando materiali dove colore e texture formano strati di finiture che si fondono in un unico effetto visivo. Il progetto, approvato con entusiamo dalla direzione Americana per le sue caratteristiche d’avanguardia, prevede l’utilizzo di lastre in vetro DecorflouDesign Mirror con decoro Fuzzy nel colore bronze, nella zona meeting room, nelle camere  in scrivanie, buffet, tavolini.  DecorFlouDesign è infatti la soluzione ideale nel settore dell'architettura e dell'arredamento Disegni dalle linee armoniose che si estendono sulle lastre senza soluzione di continuità offrono spunti alla creatività di designer e architetti per soluzioni  sempre nuove.	DECORFLOUDESIGN GLASS IS CHOSEN FOR THE INTERIORS OF THE MILAN HILTON HOTEL One of the world’s best-known hotel chains, known for its ability to stay ahead of the times with its innovative standards in comfort, service and concepts, has appointed architectural studio THDP of Turin to renovate the interiors of the Milan Hilton. Internationally known for their plans for prestigious hotel and residential projects, THDP has created an innovative look using materials in which colours and textures form layers of finishes blending together to create a single visual effect. The project, enthusiastically approved by the hotel’s American management for its innovative features, uses DecorFlouDesign Mirror glass panels with the Fuzzy decor in bronze in the meeting room and in the desks, sideboards and coffee tables in the rooms.  DecorFlouDesign is the perfect solution for architecture and interior design: designs in which harmonious lines extend over the panel of glass without interruption, offering designers and architects inspiration for ever-new solutions.
OMNIDECOR in TRIENNALE Mostra Prova a prendermi / Catch Me If You Can di Lorenzo Damiani La Triennale ha ospitato la mostra Prova a prendermi / Catch Me If You Can, dedicata ad alcuni dei progetti di Lorenzo Damiani, con  lo scopo di scardinare alcuni dei luoghi comuni legati alle modalità espositive. La mostra, allestita con oggetti sparsi in spazi diversi all’interno della Triennale, non “allestiti” ma da cercare, era una sorta di caccia al tesoro. Gli oggetti sono stati selezionati, talora disegnati e anche realizzati appositamente per questa occasione; come la mensola in vetro DecorOpal rosso di OMNIDECOR, posizionata in modo da valorizzare un muro e farne un nuovo spazio espositivo. Lorenzo Damiani fa della capacità di fare cose che non ti aspetteresti si potessero fare,  la caratteristica più evidente del proprio metodo di lavoro, e lo fa con tale forza da indurci a ripensare la resistibile potenza dei luoghi comuni.	OMNIDECOR at the TRIENNALE Prova a prendermi / Catch Me If You Can exhibition by Lorenzo Damiani The Triennale in Milan hosted an exhibition entitled Prova a prendermi / Catch Me If You Can featuring a number of designs by Lorenzo Damiani which attempted to cast off certain clichés about exhibitions. The exhibition was set up with objects here and there in different parts of the Triennale, not “on display” but there if people looked for them, like a sort of treasure hunt. The objects were selected and, in some cases, designed and produced specifically for the occasion, such as the red DecorOpal glass shelf by OMNIDECOR, set in a position that made a wall into a new exhibition space. The key to Lorenzo Damiani’s work is the ability to make things you would never have thought could be made, and make them so well that we are forced to rethink the resistible power of the cliché.
DESIGN IN ACTION con OMNIDECOR e MINOTTI CUCINE All’ Arengario di piazza Duomo a Milano si è svolto, lo scorso aprile, il contest di progettazione “Design in action” in favore di HO-PE, organizzazione onlus impegnata in progetti a tutela della salute e dell’educazione in Medioriente. L’obiettivo è stato quello di ideare e disegnare un nuovo modello di cucina destinato all’orfanotrofio di Sephoris a Nazareth. Organizzatore e main sponsor dell’evento: Minotti Cucine che realizzerà il progetto vincitore grazie al contributo di diversi sponsor. Alla serata hanno partecipato OMNIDECOR e oltre cento professionisti del mondo del design, della moda e della comunicazione.	DESIGN IN ACTION with OMNIDECOR and MINOTTI CUCINE The Arengario in Milan’s Piazza Duomo hosted the “Design in action” competition in April benefitting HO-PE, a non-profit organisation which works to improve health and education in the Middle East. The goal was to conceive and design a new kitchen for the Sephoris orphanage in Nazareth. Event organiser and main sponsor Minotti Cucine will build the winning kitchen with contributions from a number of sponsors. OMNIDECOR participated in the event along with more than a hundred professionals from the worlds of design, fashion and communication.
